Ahh, Revlon Lip butters! These have been tempting me for a while and are honestly just starting to stay on the shelves a bit longer. Every time I looked for these only one or two were left in peachy pink colors..which I am not a fan of. Alas though! I found the 2 shades I wanted to test out first, Cherry Tart & Red Velvet. Cherry Tart is a very classic cool toned red. It does have a slight shimmer in it but to me it is barely noticeable and overall a very "wearable" red. I would describe it as a sheer red. I also like the feel of it on my lips, very creamy and -gasp- buttery texture. I was slightly disappointed in the longevity of Cherry Tart. I felt like it only lasted about an hour before reapplying but I was not expecting much from a lip butter. Red Velvet was definitely my favorite out of the two. It is more of a dark brick red almost burgundy color. This was very pigmented and not sheer at all in my opinion. It also lasted longer before reapplying which was surprising and nice. The packaging for these lip butters is very basic and they have a quilted pattern on them, your standard color sticker on the bottom and at the top a clear window so you can see the color of the actual butter itself. Also did a color swatch, the color on top is Red Velvet and the color on the bottom is Cherry Tart. Overall, I really like these lip butters! For about $6 a piece you can't go wrong and at certain drugstores they are having sales to where you can get them even cheaper!
Overall score, I would say a 4 out of 5 and definitely worth the money spent on them.
